All tests so far has suggested backward compatibility would only be possible with a hard disk drive. Recent signs of some developers now suggests that some Xbox titles still in development, including future Xbox titles could play in the central system that don’t need hard disk drive to load.

The reason why the old Xbox games would need a hard drive to play in the Xbox 360 is the machine does not have any hardware in place to do the job and will therefore have simulate the old Xbox.Para hardware that needs a hard disk drive to load the emulation code.

Now with a professional industry this is true only partially as some Xbox titles that are still under development are receiving special treatment.The idea is that the games themselves will contain the code emulation in them.In fact, some Xbox titles says that already contain the code so that it starts under emulation on the Xbox 360.Aunque I must emphasize that since resources are limited, only triple A titles will include the emulation code and only parties coming out in the window after it was announced the Xbox 360.Tan soon as we know what titles including the emulation code disk will publish a list, but while most know that we do not want any official guess.

Films based on popular games are warmer than ever. Yahoo Movies has released a new trailer for the DOOM film which is directed by Andrzej Bartkowjak (Cradle 2 the grave). Judging by the new trailer that it seems that the movie will remain faithful to the games (in the sense that it seems there is a lot of running in first person view everything the blasting that moves), now if it is good or not will be answered 21 October 2005, when you reach the silverscreen.

The majority of Microsoft Xbox 360 launch details for the Americas and Europe was announced at the recent Conference games in Germany. Now, Microsoft has set a date for the announcement of plans to launch Xbox 360 for Japan. The event will take place on Thursday, 9/15, the day before Tokyo Game Show opens doors, in a hotel in Tokyo where Microsoft has invited the game worldwide press. All data on what will be announced is still unknown, we only know that it will be on plans to launch for Japan. We will of course keep updated per minute when Microsoft finally reveals his strategy of Japan.

Microsoft could not convince the Japanese players with its first Xbox. Claim that have now learned from their mistakes, and that the 360 can capture the attention of the Japanese players. However, Nintendo of America VP Perrin Kaplan has little confidence in Microsoft’s ambitious plans to conquer the Japanese game market.

Speaking in an interview with IGN web US, Kaplan discussed possibilities for console next generation Nintendo, revolution and rivals Microsoft and Sony in the Japanese market.

“Xbox has no recognition in Japan”, stated, “and very few people are aware of or anticipate 2 currently Xbox”.
